AFRENCO is an independent organisation, conceived to nurture African startups and connect them to local and global trade networks and opportunities. The organisation brings together hundreds of the world's most influential policymakers, experts and decision-makers to drive entrepreneurial development on the continent, and to craft and lead the economic, industrial and social renaissance of a new, digitized and integrated Africa.
Our work in intensifying private-public partnerships, intra-regional trade and entrepreneurship in Africa is achieved through six flagship initiatives. When investing in our initiatives, partners are provided with periodic reports detailing regional statistics and indicators for informed economic, social and environmental decision making. We also organise site tours so investors can see first-hand how their support is transforming lives and bringing change to the poorest communities in Africa.
Growfund is a Venture Capital partnership between AFRENCO and a leading private equity firm. The core objective of this fund is to help top-tier companies invest their Enterprise and Supplier Development budgets effectively in startups that have high-growth potential. The fund also offers Supplier Finance - a product aimed at ensuring that startups have the capacity to carry out the awarded procurement contracts.
Enterprise Warehouse is an incubator that enables our startups to successfully deliver contracted projects. The incubator also allows the private and public institutions to conduct business with approved contractors and suppliers in a confident manner knowing that the signed service agreements will be sustained and the promised project delivery will materialize repeatedly, on time, on specifications, and within costs.
